Prior to the restoration, the road was filthy and had several potholes as it was the only access route for lorries transporting earth for land filling at nearby projects.
While cars entering this area were damaged, several accidents had also occurred, when motorcyclists were dislodged and fell when their vehicles hit the potholes that were covered with water. .
The works were completed with the joint effort of former Kelana Jaya MP Loh Seng Kok, the Subang Jaya Municipal Council (MPSJ) and the developers concerned.
Lagoon Perdana residents association chairman K. Ramindran thanked Loh for his effort in ensuring the work was completed even though he was no longer the Kelana Jaya MP.
A restaurant operator, who wished to be known only as Iskhandar, said customers were reluctant to enter the area previously when the road was dusty and damaged.
“I hope that my business will improve now that the road has been repaired. I thank Loh Seng Kok for helping us to solve our problems.”
Loh, meanwhile, said he
appreciated the speedy response and
co-operation of the relevant parties
in making the project a success.
